Technologies Fighting Against Covid-19

At Tech News Pro, we listed the most efficient and innovative technologies fighting against covid-19. The modern world thrives on tech and the verge of research, implementing medicines, curing diseases.

CNBC reported, that $20 million has been donated for the tech and research by Amazon Web Service (AWS) to fight against the pandemic. They also launched a program named AWS Diagnostic Development Initiative.

The FDA gave a permit for 3D printed PPE. Wherever there’s a shortage of regular PPE production and supply, it is permissible to use 3D printed ones. Though 3D printed PPE’s will not provide the same level of fluid or physical barrier, it is always necessary to implement at least something. There are also gowns, respirators, masks made with 3D printing technology.

Tech Company named Oura built a special Oura ring that uses physiological data and calculates the risk of someone being affected by Covid-19 and detects symptoms that will transform into Covid.

Global brands like Ford, Mystery Ranch, and Daleboot are also contributing to Covid-19. Their effort is directly helping doctors and nurses in the frontline.

Robots are also used to help in the pandemic. Since it is risky for people to be directly exposed to patients. Some hospitals are using robots to send hourly medication to patients and it reduces human to human contact.

Claus Risager, the CEO of Blue Ocean Robotics, created robots that clean bacteria and viruses automatically from every corner of the room using smart sensors and UV-ray. It also has advanced analytic features to let the user know real-time statics.

Technologies and humans are fighting alongside in this long fight against Covid -19. We can now simulate vaccinations, probabilities, possible outcomes, and treatment measures by computers. Supercomputers, google cloud computers and even single home PC’s are taking part in it alongside so many other things.

Folding@home is a similar technology that uses GPU-accelerated Core22 technology on an open-source platform. Sticking all the raw powers together to boost the simulation data that can help in this fight.

In the early era during the time of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), it was not possible to use technology as we are using now. So we are lucky to come all this way for claiming benefits from modern technology.

We all are in this together and even banking, financial services, studies came online so the world doesn’t stop around Covid, and keep life as functional as possible.
